Naturalist Finds New Love

My client, a city naturalist, came to me feeling overworked and lonely. She was struggling with the isolation and pressure of leadership as well as the lack of intimacy that her heart really wanted.

Our work began with setting boundaries between her work and personal life. As the only manager in her place of employment, she was carrying the burden of performance for the entire team. She started to delegate more so other team members would feel invested in the results, and put structures into place to keep the team on track. She began to reach out to build relationships with other executive managers for the first time in her career. She reined in her tendency to stay late and come in early, and began to honor the boundaries of her work day.

After she created more personal time, she learned how to manage and reduce her stress using meditation and better self-care. She was able to forgive the past and turn her face towards the future. As she continued to prioritize her own well-being, we were both pleased to see her shift into deeper self-love. It was only a matter of time before she connected with her soulmate and they were engaged to be married.

When our coaching relationship came to a close, she was happily beginning a new life with her husband.
