My client, a financial planner, had identified organizational and time management goals when we began our work together. Knowing that he needed to do something different in order to be successful in his business, he was committed to ending the behaviors that were sabotaging his forward progress. Our first step together was to strengthen his boundaries so he could separate his work time, his personal time, and his family time.
In the process of coaching, he discovered that he had been harboring old feelings of guilt and anger in his primary relationship. As he moved through the process of forgiveness, he discovered and conquered the fear of rejection that made him bad at sales and became a much better sales person. He started to form partnerships and strategic alliances that he had not previously imagined, and his business began to grow.
When we concluded our coaching relationship, he was very satisfied with the gains he had made in his client base and his annual income.
